But a major traffic shift begins Thursday.
Work crews, on Thursday, will move traffic to the new lanes on the north side of the street. The move will allow crews to begin work on street's south side.
Access to several streets from 29th during this second phase of work will be prohibited.
Those streets include: Bristol, Esther, Gordon and Skrivanek Dr. from 29th Street will not be allowed.
You can still access those using Kent Street or Carter Creek Parkway during construction.
Phase 2 should last about eight weeks. The entire project should wrap up next March.
