Revenge is believed to be the motive behind an alleged murder plot in Montgomery County. And authorities say the target was none other than a sheriff's deputy.

At a Friday evening press conference, Montgomery County investigators revealed a handful of details about the case. They say four suspects had plotted to use a tracking device and improvised explosive device to kill a deputy who was responsible for their past arrests.

Charged with conspiracy to commit capital murder are Billy Jack Pelton, 26; Rose Bond, 27; Cole Patton, 27; and Joshua Kennedy, 26. Kennedy is also charged with Felony solicitation of capital murder. Bond on all four has been denied.
