Police Have Suspect in Bryan Murder

Bryan police are investigating a murder that happened early Tuesday morning in the 1000 block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Street.

The call came in around 2 a.m. Tuesday, in reference to a disturbance.

When police arrived they found Robert Earl Jordan lying on the garage floor, barely breathing. Jordan, 44, was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center where he was pronounced dead around 2:48 a.m.

Police say preliminary autopsy results indicate Jordon died from blunt force trauma to the head. Police say they have a suspect, but no charges have been filed.

The investigation is on-going.
