WACO, Texas -- A judge has sentenced a former suburban Waco school superintendent to 30 days in jail for placing a hidden camera in a women's restroom at a school administration building.
The judge also ordered Dan Doyen to register as a sex offender as a condition of his five years of probation to be served after his jail time.
The 46-year-old former administrator of the Bruceville-Eddy school district pleaded guilty in April to two counts of improper photography or visual recordings.
The registration as a sex offender means Doyen must move from his home, which is less than 150 feet from the Bruceville-Eddy school administration building. The judge also barred Doyen from entering any buildings at the school, where his children are active in activities.
Doyen resigned from the Bruceville-Eddy district in late 2005.
