One last round of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms is possible in the Brazos Valley through midnight. A few storms could be strong to severe, with damaging winds & hail being a concern. An isolated, brief tornado threat cannot be ruled out. Highest potential for severe weather is over the Northeastern Corner of the Brazos Valley.
It may still be a few days away, but the George Bush Presidential Library already started its Juneteenth celebration.
Thursday morning the library hosted a concert and storytelling event for museum visitors.
Internationally renowned storyteller Diane Ferlatte, known for bringing the stories she tells to life with humor and music, entertained crowds at the library in honor of the celebration.
Prior to the event, visitors were able to participate in the annual Freedom March where participants marched from the Lincoln Center in College Station all the way to the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum.
