A TORNADO WATCH has been issued for Lee county until 4pm. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Milam, Robertson, Leon Counties until 9pm Monday, for Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery,San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties until 10pm Monday, and for Lee county until 1am Tuesday. An additional widespread 1" to 3" rain accumulations are possible through Monday, with locally higher amounts possible.
A College Station Police investigation lands eleven people in jail for possession of illegal drugs and paraphernalia.
The department's Special Investigation Unit raided a house in the 800 block of Val Verde and found an extensive marijuana growing operation.
Close to $16,000 worth of marijuana plants, along with assorted
prescription drugs were seized.
Authorities arrested the following: Nicholas Allen Comaitos, 18, of Bryan; Tammi Daniell, 18; Joseph Oscar Miller, 18; Kirk Allen Grammer, 19; Jason Matthew Holland, 19; Spencer Louis Lammers, 19; Jennifer Jeanne Jessup, 19, all six of College Station; Tara Danielle Burgett, 19, of Bryan; Joevan Said Beladi , 20; Bruce Edward Wilkerson II, 20, of College Station; and Matthew Scott Blake, 21, also of College Station.
College Station Police Master Officer, Rhonda Seaton said the investigation proved successful.
"This was a really good arrest because we were able to arrest eleven people and that is somewhat unusual going into a residence and making eleven arrest," Seaton said.
All eleven suspects are facing drug or drug paraphernalia possession
charges and possible fines.
