The only surgical robot in the Brazos Valley took its first road trip Saturday.
The Da Vinci surgical robot was on display at Gander Mountain.
It was last December when the Da Vinci system made its debut at the College Station Medical Center.
By using the robot, doctors at the Med are able to offer less invasive procedures to patients who may be facing radical prostate surgeries, hysterectomies and other surgeries.
The Da Vinci surgical robot system also provides the patient with a shorter recovery time.
