A College Station man will face charges for stabbing a man after he is released from the hospital.

Police say Ramiro Flores of College Station threatened Salvador Diaz with a gun outside Margarita Rocks early Sunday morning.

Police say the argument picked up about an hour later in the 3000 block of Texas in the driveway of a mobile home park.

That is where police say Flores stabbed Diaz twice in the chest.

In retaliation, officers say Diaz's friends who were with him badly beat up Flores.

Both men were were taken to College Station Medical Center.

Diaz has since been released.

Authorities say Flores will be charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

There is no word yet on whether anyone else will face charges.
