Car Burglars Caught in the Act

College Station Police say a Bryan man responsible for eleven car burglaries is behind bars.

Around 5:00 a. m. Sunday morning, officers spotted Reynaldo Castelan, 18, and another man looking into cars in the parking lot of the Campus View Apartments.

Officer ordered both men were ordered to stop but they fled on foot.

Authorities arrested Castelan moments later behind the Sonic on Harvey Road.

Police say Castelan and the other suspect are responsible for eleven vehicle break-ins at the Campus View Apartments.

Castelan has been charged with eleven counts of Burglary and one count of Evading Arrest.
