Bryan Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges

A Bryan man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison. George Williams pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.

Williams, 45, received two 15-year concurrent prison sentences.

Williams was arrested last year after investigators found crack cocaine and PCP in his Waco Street home. Investigators also found other items commonly used to make drugs.

Williams' girlfriend, Faye Sweeps, was also arrested in connection with the drug bust. Sweeps pleaded guilty to two counts of manufacturing and delivery in January and is currently serving a five year prison sentence.

The Brazos County District Attorney's Office says Sweeps received a lesser sentence because she did not have an extensive criminal history.
