WACO, Texas -- A 15-year-old has been charged with manslaughter in the death of a younger boy who fell from a vehicle which was going in circles in a Waco parking lot.
The case involves the death earlier this month of 13-year-old Keon Talton. He and several other teens were standing on top of a moving Jeep in a movie theater parking lot as the vehicle drove in circles.
Witnesses say Talton fell after the SUV swerved and stopped. He died two days later.
Waco police say the driver, whose name isn't being released because he's a juvenile, turned himself in Wednesday. The Waco Tribune-Herald reports three others were also arrested.
Eighteen-year-old Chauncey Murphy and a 13-year-old are charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and another 15-year-old is charged with failure to stop and render aid.
