Scouts Develop Egg Packaging Techniques

By  |

More than 200 hundred cub scouts filed into Austin's Colony Park in Bryan for the ultimate camp experience.

Friday afternoon, scouts dropped eggs in boxes from the top of a Bryan Fire Department ladder. The goal for the young scouts was to package the egg so it could survive the drop.

Scouts wrapped their eggs in a variety of protective gear, everything from gels to toilet paper, and even some self-created parachutes attached to the boxes.

In the end, the event was everything it it was cracked up to be.
