Milam County Sheriff's officials say they are searching for a Cameron man missing since Saturday.
Officials say James Mollica was supposed to meet his wife in Thorndale Saturday evening, but never arrived. Mollica allegedly last spoke to his wife around 9:30 p.m. Saturday by cell phone.
Mollica, 53, was driving a 1993 extended cab Ford pick-up truck, black in color, with Texas license plate 6HBP98.
Sheriff's officials say they found vehicle tracks under the Little River bridge on FM 486. The tracks indicate that some type of vehicle may have driven down the bank of the river. Officials searched the river for several hours Sunday afternoon without any success. The water at the time was too dangerous to risk the safety of divers.
Mollica has been entered into a nationwide computer database as a missing person, as has his vehicle.
If anyone has information on Mollica's whereabouts, call the Milam County Sheriff's Office at 254-697-7033.
