Arm Wrestling Leads to Waco Teen Being Shot, Killed

WACO, Texas -- A gunman is sought in the slaying of a Waco teen who apparently had defeated the suspect in an arm-wrestling contest.

So far, no arrests in the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Jerardo Hernandez. The victim's sister, Annette Hernandez, says her brother died "because he was strong."

Authorities are looking into reports that the teen was shot early Sunday while he held out his arm in preparation for a second match with the man he'd just defeated.

Police are seeking a man who drove away in a pickup after the killing during a party at a residence.
