Governor Rick Perry nominated three Texans Tuesday for terms on the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents.
Morris Foster of Houston is president of ExxonMobil Production Company and vice president of the ExxonMobil Corporation.
J.L. Huffines is a well-known car dealer from the Dallas-area. He is chairman and owner of the Huffines group.
Also nominated was James Wilson of Sugar Land. Wilson is chairman and CEO of the JK Acquisition Corporation.
If confirmed, the three nominees would replace Phil Adams, Wendy Gramm, and Lowry Mays on the board of regents.
Their terms expired February 1.
