The George Bush Presidential Library is gearing up for its eighth Fourth of July celebration. The library and Texas A&M University will host the Lions Club International's annual 4th of July Celebration, "I Love America."
The Museum will open at 9:30 a.m. and remain open until 8:00 p.m. There will be entertainment and games for the children starting at 5:30 p.m. with costumed characters such as George and Martha Washington, Harriett Tubman, Benjamin Franklin and Amelia Earhart.
The evening will end with a fireworks display at 9:40 p.m. and concert by the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra. Guests are encouraged to come early and bring their lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets.
