Downtown Navasota was the place to be Wednesday morning.
Dozens of residents turned out for the town's annual Independence Day Parade.
Participants strapped on roller skates, wheeled wagons and brought along their dogs for the festivities.
The parade started at the Bank of Navasota and ended at the Navasota Center, where people celebrated Fourth of July with games, crafts and live music.
