A Hearne woman is dead in what police say could be an unfortunate accident.
The exact cause of Evelyn Higgins death, however, still has police uncertain.
Higgins, 50, died Tuesday night when police say she fell out of a moving vehicle.
It is not known why Higgins may have had the door open on the pickup in which she was riding. Police say it looks like it may just be an accident.
The driver, John Brewster, 49, of Hearne, has not been charged in the incident. Police say neither drugs, alcohol, nor foul play are suspected.
Higgins' body was sent to Austin for an autopsy and a Department of Public Safety team is reconstructing the accident.
Those results are expected next week.
