Forecasters: Rising Brazos River Not a Threat in B-CS

By  |

Increased flood waters upstream from the Brazos River means a slight rise in the river's level.

Officials at the River Forecast Center say the Brazos River in the Bryan area is currently at 33.9 feet, well below the flood stage of 43 feet.

A slow crest between 34 and 35 feet is expected Friday, with authorities keeping a close eye on the area's rain forecast.
