A former College Station resident was one of three people fatally shot in Cleveland, Ohio in a dispute police say was triggered by fireworks.
Bruce Anderson, 30, was attending an after-hours party at a friends home early Thursday morning. Police say fireworks were being used which enraged a neighbor, off-duty Cleveland firefighter Terrance Hough, Jr., 35. Despite Hough's complaints, the party continued. That's when police say Hough stormed over to the party and began shooting. Anderson and two others died at the scene. Two more were wounded. Hough was charged in the killings.
Anderson's funeral will be held in College Station, although no date has been set. Anderson lived in College Station from 1998 to 2004. During that time, he held many jobs including serving as a bartender at several local night clubs. A family member describes him as a kind, fun-loving person who'll be sorely missed.
