Slovacek's Fundraiser A Success
Slovacek's Smokehouse raised $5,200 for CARPOOL and $5,200 for Haiti relief during a charity drive Saturday.

The numbers are in for a weekend fundraiser in Snook.

Slovacek's Smokehouse raised $5,200 for the CARPOOL program and $5,200 for Haiti relief during their daylong fundraiser Saturday.

All income from Saturday's sales is being donated to the two programs.

Texas A&M's CARPOOL program provides a safe ride home for people who've been drinking . The other half of the money will be contributed towards A&M United Methodist Church's medical clinic containers being sent to Haiti.

Slovacek's is a GREAT place!! Everything they do is a "class act"...They are always "helping out" whenever they can..Now if only OTHER places would follow their lead...HINT HINT HINT....THANK YOU Slovacek's!! I drive from College Station for a"just to get away drive" and always end up at your place..And there are always lots of folks in the store..Guess they know a good thing too...Thanks again and keep up the good work!!
