This year's Half Pint Library Book Drive got rolling with a special donation.

Bryan Mayor Mark Conlee gave away a children's book at Tuesday night's city council meeting to mark the 12th annual event.

The drive runs from February 15 - March 31. You can drop off new and used children's books at any Half Price Books location.

How ironic and this just happens to happen when there is an election looming right around the corner. Furthermore, KBTX just happened to be told about this donation. What a coincidence.

Somehow I knew it would be the Bryan mayor...and not the College Station mayor.
