A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Lee, Madision, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, & Washington Counties until 8am Saturday morning.
Officials with Scott & White have signed an agreement with UnitedHealthcare that will open a new range of network options for nearly 200,000 Central Texans.
The new agreement takes effect August first, and adds more than 550 Scott & White providers to health plans marketed by UniteHealthcare and its affiliates.
“We’re pleased to offer UnitedHealthcare members new opportunities for
quality health care in the areas around Temple, Waco, College Station and in our growing Round Rock region,” said Scott & White President and CEO Dr. Alfred Knight. “Patients and employers have desired greater access to our physicians and services. UnitedHealthcare members nationwide, some 18 million people, will have the opportunity to seek care through Scott & White. With this agreement, those visits will now be easier as the entire Scott & White team is in network.”
