Fans and opponents of Hooters will soon find out if the restaurant will open in Bryan.
A hearing to decide whether the restaurant will get its liquor license will take place September 20 and 21 in Waco. The Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission (TABC) scheduled the hearing after several local residents protested against Hooters.
Factors that will be considered during the hearing include health, peace, residents' safety and the public's sense of decency.
The hearing will take place at the State Office of Administrative Hearing at 801 Austin Avenue in Waco.
