The city of Bryan's first signature event was apparently so successful, they've already set the date for the second installment.
June 21 of next year has already been announced as the next Texas Reds Steak and Grape Festival.
Thousands packed Downtown Bryan back on June 16 to sample steaks and taste wine. City officials say the premiere event vastly exceed their expectations, but that they'll work to improve for next year.
“The first annual event was successful, but it will only continue to grow and succeed with sustained support and buy-in from our team of community partners and sponsors,” said Deputy City Manager Joey Dunn. “We have gathered a lot of information and received feedback from our partners and the event participants on how to make next year’s festival even better."
