Kaspar Promoted to Bryan City Engineer
City of Bryan Public Works Director Linda Huff announced Monday that Paul Kaspar has been promoted to City Engineer for the City of Bryan, effective immediately.

City of Bryan Public Works Director Linda Huff announced Monday that Paul Kaspar has been promoted to City Engineer for the City of Bryan, effective immediately.
Kaspar has worked for the City in the Engineering Department for the past 9 years serving as Interim City Engineer from 2000 to 2002 and as Assistant City Engineer since 2002.
“Paul brings a wealth of technical experience and a professional reputation that will help the City move forward in both capital improvements and in the development arena,” Huff said.
In accepting the City Engineer post, Kaspar said: “It has been a great pleasure to work with the excellent staff at the City of Bryan the last 9 years and I look forward to the incredible things we will continue to accomplish together in the upcoming years.”
Kaspar holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a licensed engineer and a nationally certified floodplain manager.
Kaspar has won numerous awards such as the 2007 Floodplain Manager of the Year, and was recognized as the 2000 Young Engineer of the Year by the Brazos Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers.
Huff previously held the city engineer job until she was recently named Director of Public Works
