Perry Makes Fundraising Dash After Legislative Session

AUSTIN (AP) - Republican Governor Rick Perry hasn't said if he's running for office in 2010, but he's not slowing down on his fund-raising.

Perry reports raising more than $881,000 in only 13 days in June after the recent Texas legislative session and bill-signing period ended.

Perry had $1.4 million in cash on hand at the end of the six-month reporting period, which ran from January through June.

He and other statewide elected officials and legislators had to file their campaign funding reports by Monday with the Texas Ethics Commission.
