Kosse Man's Child Pornography Trial to Start July 24

A Central Texas man already serving prison time for crimes against children is set to go to trial July 24 Brazos County.

Jury selection begins next week in the trial of Karl Keith Noland of Kosse.

Noland, 46, is charged with 44 counts of child pornography possession.

He was arrested in April of 2005 after bringing his computer to College Station for repairs. A technician then found dozens of illicit images.

Noland is already serving 25 year and 20-year prison sentences after his 2006 conviction on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child.

He was temporarily released from a Texas Department of Criminal Justice facility to Brazos County authorities.

Noland is currently housed in Brazos County Jail awaiting the start of his trial in Bryan.
