The Hispanic Forum of Bryan and College Station honored outstanding community members during its scholarships and awards gala Saturday night.
For nearly a decade, the forum has honored individuals in the community as well as businesses that have contributed to the development and well-being of the Hispanic community. Those recognized for the "Lifetime Achievement Award" were Ramiro Quintero, as well as the late Steve Garza, Jr and Jesse Flores.
The forum also honors high school graduating seniors from Bryan High and A&M Consolidated High School with academic scholarships. Analise Orozco was recognized as
"Student of the Year".
Isaac Hernandez is the Hispanic Forum's "Person of the Year", while Casa Rodriguez was awarded "Business of the Year".
