Charges were still pending Tuesday against a man suspected of shooting two men Monday at a financial services business in a 15-story office building in north Dallas.

Dallas police said Robert Randall Mustard, 60, remained in critical condition Tuesday at Baylor University Medical with what they said is a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Dallas police

Dallas Police Sr. Cpl. Gerardo Monreal said no charges have been filed.

A gunman who evidently was angry over business dealings wounded a father and son at Smith Financial on the third floor of the office building Monday, and then shot himself as police closed in, authorities said.

Police said the gunman and his victims, Richard Smith, 66, and his son, R. Chris Smith, 39, were evidently involved in an ongoing dispute.

The older Smith was shot in the legs and his son was shot in the neck.

Both were in serious condition Tuesday at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
