A weekend Broomball tournament is giving a funding boost to an area agency.

Friday night's game featuring Bryan-College Station Police and Firefighters raised more than $2,000 for the Brazos County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

The Coalition provides education and awareness programs to prevent domestic violence in the area.

This year more than 70 players participated in the game and Bryan P.D. skated off with the golden broom.

I do not think it matters... the game was being played for a good cause... Doesn't matter who played!
