DALLAS (AP) - Dallas fire crews continued to battle hot spots at a gas facility after explosions rocked the industrial area.

Three people were hurt in the mid-morning accident at Southwest Industrial Gases, near downtown Dallas.

Police hours later checked bridges for structural damage and cleaned debris from the shut-down roadways.

Fire Department Lieutenant Joel Lavender says a "pig-tailed" acetylene connector malfunctioned.

The equipment is used to join tanks during the filling process.

Lavender says two employees were burned, plus a trucker who hurt his back.

Parkland Memorial Hospital identified the burn victims as 50-year-old Randal Bibb, who's in serious condition, and 56-year-old Daniel McMurry, who's fair.

The trucker was treated and released from Methodist Hospital.
