Motorcyclist Killed in Bryan Accident
A fatal accident in Bryan claims the life of a motorcyclist. Police say Christopher Owens, 19, died from injuries he received in the crash.

A fatal accident in Bryan claims the life of a motorcyclist.
Police say Christopher Owens, 19, died from injuries he received in the crash.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. Friday on Highway 30 near Hardy Weedon Road.
It's still unclear what caused the crash, but we do know the motorcycle collided with a suburban.
Police say Owens was wearing a helmet.
The east bound lane of Highway 30 has been shut down so officers can reconstruct the accident.

I was a friend of Chris and was in Automotive tech in high school with him. Chris was always the life of the class he would always make you laugh. I hated to hear about this accedent. Chris and the Owens family will be in my prayers. The best memory of him was when we were in the 12th grade and went to the skills usa competition in Beaumont TX. R.I.P Chris wish i could have known you sooner than the 12th grade but i might have only known you for a little time but it felt like i knew you for a long time, miss you buddy!!!

It's been a while since this happened but these comments are ridiculous. I always knew Chris to be a safe driver but we all make mistakes. Regardless of fault Chris was an amazing guy who was taken too soon. The speed on HWY 30 should be reduced due to numerous accidents that happen on that stretch of road. Chris I miss you everyday and I still pray for your family. Cyndi, Joe and Lauren- I hope my son turns out 1/16 as great as Chris was. RIP Buddy
