Texas A&M University System now has a $6 million carrot to dangle in front of prospective researchers. Governor Rick Perry announced the state grant Friday for the school's Texas Institute for Preclinical Studies. The money will be used to lure top researchers to Texas A&M to develop advancements in biotechnology.
