The murder trial of a Houston man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death started Monday afternoon.
Defrederick Granderson was arrested in 2006 after police found the body of Andrea Kimbrough, 33, at a home on Wellington Street in Bryan.
When authorities arrived at the house, they say Granderson fled, leading police on a car chase which ended when he lost control and crashed.
Jury selection and opening statements began Monday.
