Questions about water problems in the Vintage Hills subdivision over the weekend have been answered.
Kent Watson, Manager with the Wickson Creek Special Utility District tells KBTX a construction crew building a fence near Messina Hof Winery broke a water line Friday causing less than one hundred homes around Vintage Hills to lose water pressure.
On Saturday residents told us their water appeared murky and then a milky color.
Water crews were flushing out pipes last weekend after the water line break.
Watson told us the water was tested over the weekend and was safe to drink.
Vintage Hills Resident Matthew Gall had this to say Saturday before information on the water problem was made available.
"Our plans are bought, buy some bottled water for drinking and brushing our teeth for the next couple of days and probably have to flush out our ice maker and what not," said Matthew Gall, a Vintage Hills resident.
A boil water notice was never issued because the water never met the criteria requiring one.

mr.knowitall i grew up on well water also and water wickson supply is not going to make you sick, it is treated dipstick.
Wickson Customer, I grew up on well water! No complaints here. And remember it’s always better to over react, then to end up with a sick child or being sick yourself. I think if KBTX wanted your opinion, they would have knocked on your door too!
To Good Luck, remember you always have options. Dig a well and see how wonderful that untreated well water is!!
