By  |

The investigation continues into the drowning death of a boy at a College Station hotel.

Michael Ross of Fairfield died July 23 at the Plaza Hotel in what police say is an accidental drowning.

Autopsy results are still pending, but investigators believe no foul play was involved.

Police say there were a number of kids playing in the pool at the time and it is likely no one noticed Ross go under.

Ross, 12, was in town with his church attending the Missionary Baptist General Convention of Texas' annual meeting.

Police are leaving the criminal investigation open until final autopsy results are received.
