A convicted killer drew a favorable sentence Saturday after his charge was reduced.
Larry Brown, of Bryan, was originally charged with murder in the 2005 stabbing death of Chris Johnson outside a Bryan nightclub. However, the murder charge was lowered to manslaughter.
Brown was sentenced to 20 years in prison which is the maximum punishment for manslaughter.
