CS Cemetery, Aggie Field of Honor Drawing Unveiled

During the College Station city council workshop session Monday, the council saw preliminary designs for the new city cemetery, which will include the Aggie Field of Honor.

The land for the cemetery is off of University Drive near Easterwood Airport.

An option sale of plots for the property is already underway and runs through December. Anyone interested in reserving a plot as part of the option sale can contact the city for more information.

The likely name will be the Memorial Cemetery of College Station, with a portion dedicated for Aggies wanting to be buried among special monuments to the university.
