Sheriff's officials are hoping to resume their search for a Milam County man missing since early July.

James Mollica, 53, disappeared while on his way to Thorndale. Officials say truck tracks were found under a bridge on FM 486, which they believe might trace back to Mollica.

The levels of the river have remained too high to continue the search for Mollica. Authorities say they are waiting for the Army Corps of Engineers to close the gates of the Belton Dam. When that is done, the river levels will recede and the search will start again.
