A fire in Robertson County has been burning since Wednesday, but officials say no one is in danger.

The fire started at about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at a natural gas well east of Franklin.

The well is owned by EnCana Oil and Gas. Company officials say the fire started because of a well control issue.

No one was injured and officials say no houses are in danger.

The fire is still burning, but officials say it has been contained.
