The man accused of carrying out Bryan's second murder of the year was indicted Thursday.
A Brazos County grand jury handed up a murder indictment against 53-year-old Lee Ernest Hamilton.
He's accused of killing Robert Jordon, 44, on June 12 on Martin Luther King street in Bryan.
Police say Hamilton tried to shoot Jordon, but when the gun wouldn't discharge, he hit him in the head several times with a shotgun.
The defendant told police he was being harassed by Jordon, according to court documents.
Hamilton remains at the Brazos County Jail on an $80,000 bond.
