Armstrong Wants Bikes for Kids

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Lance Armstrong owes it all to his bicycle.

No surprise there.

The seven-time winner of the Tour de France told guests at a Colorado Springs fundraising dinner that, quote, "Without a bike, my life would not have been the same."

Armstrong spoke to 600 people at a banquet for a group that works to provide bicycles to underprivileged children in the Colorado Springs area.

Armstrong says bicycling gave him the opportunity to share his story of cancer survivorship.
