Some area kids got the chance to soak up more summer fun before they have to head back to school.

The Concerned Black Men of the Brazos Valley hosted the 3rd annual "Back to School Party" at the Neal Recreation Center in Bryan on Saturday.

Kids and parents alike got to enjoy free food, music, and games.

The organization puts on the party to give kids positive encouragement for the upcoming school year.

Thanks to several other local organizations and businesses at least 300 kids got to walk away with backpacks and school supplies.
