A low flying helicopter in South College Station is no cause for alarm.
College Station Police say they have received several calls Tuesday regarding a helicopter flying low over parts of College Station.
College Station Dispatch was notified that for the next several days there will be a helicopter in the area doing low level flyovers for the purpose of taking Aerial photographs.
A police dispatcher supervisor did contact the Easterwood Control Tower and verified that this company does have permission for the low level flyovers.
The owner said they will be staying within three miles of the airport and they should be done in about three days. They will only make two runs a day: Approximately 9:30 am to Noon and 1 to 3:30pm.
