Brazos County's newest special events facility will host its first event this weekend.
The Texas A&M Saddle and Sirloin Club will host a livestock show at the Brazos County Expo Center starting Saturday morning.
The covered arena which will be used for livestock shows and rodeos and the stall barn which will house livestock and equipment are completed and ready for the event.
"We're very excited and it will be a very good event," Tom Quarles, The Brazos County Expo Center Director said.
The exhibit hall, a space for trade shows and conventions should be finished in the near future.
