A Bryan man convicted of murder is headed to prison for life.

Michael Young, 23, was found guilty Friday on one count of murder in connection with last year's stabbing death of Mary Neely.

Brazos County jurors began deliberating Young's punishment Friday afternoon and continued deliberations into the evening. They returned Friday night with a life sentence.

Neely, 44, was stabbed to death in her Bryan apartment last May.

A 61-year-old man was also attacked and survived.
