A club opened up Saturday night that some parents may have actually
encouraged their teens to go to.
Members of the House of Hope Church hosted “Club 116” at the Lincoln Center.
The one night event was geared toward young adults between the ages of 13 to 18.
Organizers wanted to show them an alternative to partying with negative influences like drugs and alcohol.
Participants enjoyed live music for hip-hop artists, dancing, and inspirational/motivational messages.
The event began at 8 p.m. and concluded at midnight.
