With traffic backed up from a second fatal accident on Highway 6 in Robertson County, an 18-wheeler with faulty breaks caused a third wreck.
That tractor trailer narrowly missed a rear-end collision with another big rig as it was heading north. The truck swerved to the shoulder, where it hit the side of the stopped rig and the guard rail.
No one was injured, but about 100 gallons of fuel on the rig's right tank spilled into Spring Creek. Initial clean-up was conducted, and an environment crew from Waco will finish cleaning the creek.
