SOMERSET, Pa. (AP) - Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell is scheduled to speak today at a ceremony honoring the victims of Flight 93.
The ceremony marking the sixth anniversary of the Nine-Eleven attacks will also include the tolling of a bell to remember the 33 passengers and seven crew members of the United Airlines flight.
The Postal Service also will unveil a Flight 93 pictorial postmark at the Shanksville Post Office. The postmark will be available for 30 days starting today.
Flight 93 was en route from Newark, New Jersey, to San Francisco, when it was hijacked and crashed into a field near Shanksville.
Construction of a permanent memorial and national park at the crash site is scheduled to begin by 2009.
